Transparency Plus: Follow Up

In my post yesterday, I mentioned that I believe in an "over the shoulder" policy that applies to anything we do in our buildings, send home for homework, or anything that they’re working on on their Chromebooks, that a parent should be able to look over their child's shoulder and be comfortable with what their child is working on. There shouldn't be any surprises.





I forgot to mention an additional aspect of our District’s transparency, and some folks may not realize this… that we have a page available on our website to detail our curriculum.

So if you are a parent who wants to know more about what your child can expect as they enter a new grade, not to fear…


Any parent can review resources already available on our website to discover what their child may be learning BEFORE they step into the classroom. It's on our curriculum page on the District website. In many cases, the information is broken down by class to make it easier to find the information you may be looking for.
