Good News Out Of January 25th Board Meeting

Just a quick note of good news that came out of tonight's School Board meeting. We received word that the School Board and the Village of Germantown Board will be conducting a joint meeting.

This was something that I had advocated for last year when I ran against Mr. Soderberg. This is also something that I had identified as important in this year's campaign. After the issues with the intergovernmental agreement and the Board being called out by Village President Wolter for refusing to meet, this is definitely a step in the right direction. If you are on Facebook, I've linked the Two Minutes with Tracy that I published so that you can hear my thoughts regarding the issue:

I've also uploaded the video here so that you can review what I had said about a year ago.

There is a tentative date of August 30th for that meeting, however, the Board encouraged the meeting to occur earlier, if possible. They had talked about holding the meeting in March right before the Spring election.
